Copilot is a Cheat Code

I just built an entire Astro website.

Well, I didn‘t.

It was made for me with the help of VS Code and the little chat dohickey that does almost everything for me. It‘s that GitHub Copilot chatbot that I honestly did not know could do all that mess. I mean, I am a 50-something who can still remember when air conditioning and automatic transmissions where luxury upgrades for your car.

But after a couple of weeks of working with, against, for, and against again, I decided to try to create an Astro blog from scratch. AND THAT WAS A MISTAKE, lemme tell you. Here I was, thinking that you had to code all this stuff all by yourself, in some text editor, working for like a week or something before the thing would even work.

Nope.

Apparently, AI is going to completely make everybody obsolete. Honestly, I just spent two weeks figuring out to link different scaffolding together, and Copilot just did it in 3 seconds. That is not an exageration, either. I wish it was. AI 1, Johnnie, 0.

Heck, Humans 0. I was just trying to be hip, cool, now, with it, and a few Astro pages later I am trying to remember why humans are all that neccisary.
